Brianna creates realistic pet portraits to create a piece that you can cherish for years to come. They are a wonderful way to honor and commemorate your beloved pets whether they are still present in your life or have crossed the rainbow bridge. She pours her heart into every single drawing she does and it shows through in the completed pieces. She strives to capture the spirt of your pet so that it touches your heart and brings about warm emotion, making it a treasured possession to be displayed in your home or office. Brianna takes great pride in her work and she strives to make each new drawing better than the last, allowing her to develop and refine her work indefinitely.
Firstly you will need to select a portrait size. I can recommend which size would work best based on the reference photos you have if you are unsure. It is also worth thinking about where the portrait will be displayed, as you will likely want a different size if intended to be hung on a wall or sat on a bedside table for example.
Email me to order a pet portrait or if you need any further advice beforehand. To secure your order I will need to know what size you would like me to draw. Reference photos can be sent to me at anytime. A 25% deposit is also required to secure your place on the length of my list. If you need the drawing for a special occasion please let me know so I can advise whether or not I can complete it by the date.
All sizes are the drawing paper size, please note overall sizing will increase after the portrait is mounted. All portraits are mounted at no additional cost.
Multiple & group subjects are welcomed in all sizes, please get in touch with me for an accurate quotation.
Don't worry if you're unsure on size as I can always advise you based on the photos you provide.
In order to produce a detailed and accurate drawing, a high quality reference photo is required. If you're not sure which photos are best, I am happy to look through multiple and advise on the best one to use. Separate photos can be used when drawing multiple subjects. Unfortunately I may turn down commissions if a high quality photo cannot be provided, as the work will not be up to the same standard as other examples you may have seen - when ordering from me you deserve a high quality piece of work.
Once you have an idea on the size portrait you’d like and you have gathered a selection of suitable reference photos, the next step is to get in contact with me, either via email or instagram (see contact page on this website). I usually have around a 3 month waiting list, so please bear this in mind if you need the portrait completed by a certain date. If you have a closer deadline than this then I will do my best to accommodate!
I will book you in when the 25% deposit is taken. I will always contact you nearer the time before starting your portrait, to confirm the size and photo I’ll be working from, and will let you know once I’ve started.
It is up to you whether you want to see photos along the way of the drawing in stages, or to wait to see the finished portrait once it's complete.
The time it takes me to do each portrait varies on the size and subject, but I should be able to give you an estimation when discussing your commission.
Once your pet portrait is complete, I will send you a range of high quality photos. Once you are 100% happy with your portrait, the remaining payment can be made.
The artwork will be matted (optionally) using an acid-free mount and backing board ready for framing.
Shipping will be done with UPS and I will provide you with a tracking number.
If you are in my local area I can deliver your portrait.
At this stage I usually ask if you can send a photo of your pet and portrait or send a small review, as it helps my business to receive feedback.
Being honored with the task of creating something so sentimental us such a blessing and seeing the looks of those fur babies faces as they proudly pose next to their portraits, knowing exactly what it is.
