A Good Reference Photo

Brianna works from your own photo(s). To make sure the end result is an accurate representation of your furry friend's character she needs the best possible photos to work from. In case your pet has sadly passed away and you only own lower quality photos, don't hesitate to contact her! Although better quality photos make it easier for Brianna to create a detailed portrait, She is always in for a challenge. There's nothing more rewarding than creating a lovely memorial portrait that still captures your pet's personality.

Well Brianna is creating your drawing, she will frequently take pictures and send you updates so you can see your artwork in progress!

Tips for taking a great reference photo

Get on your pets level. Try not to take a picture looking straight down on them or from across the room. The picture needs to be a close up, at least head neck, and shoulders close.

Try to have your pet looking to one side or the other unless you prefer straight on.

have your pet sitting up in a flattering position. Lying down deforms the posture and makes it difficult to portray in a drawing,

Go outside! Natural lighting is ideal for pictures because it will help bring out all the subtle details in their coat to help me see the details to draw them.

Check to make sure your picture isn't blurry or grainy. Zoom in and look at the eyes and nose, if you can't see it, I can't see it The eyes are very important! The better I can see the eyes, the better I can capture the character.
